Truman E. Spring, Jr., was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1987.  He
earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Abilene Christian University in
1970.  Following several years of teaching, he obtained his Juris Doctor
from the University of Texas School of Law in 1987, where he was
Champion of both the Novice and Senior Mock Trial Competitions
and served as National Secretary to the Order of the Barristers.

Truman is admitted to practice before the United States
Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Courts
for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas,
and all Texas state courts.  Mr. Spring was associated with the
law firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist, P.C. in Dallas from 1987 to 1993.  He
then was engaged by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as an
in-house trial lawyer for almost two years, and thereafter was a member
of the business litigation division of Jaramillo & Associates, before
opening his own practice in October 2000.

Mr. Spring is an experienced real estate litigator and negotiator.  
He has represented property owners and lessors in matters concerning
commercial leasing, eminent domain, competing claims to property
including title disputes and lien superiority contests.

A primary part of Truman E. Spring’s work has been in arena of
commercial leasing and has represented commercial tenants and
landlords in negotiation of new leases.  In addition to drafting and
reviewing leases, renewals, modifications, ratifications and various
amendments, both commercial landlords and tenants have called upon
Mr. Spring for his professional services in litigation and dispute
resolution. He has also been counsel for another high-end lease
office/showroom property that was condemned by the Texas
Turnpike Authority under its power of eminent domain, in which the
property owner objected to the condemnation award of the Special
Commissioners in the sum of $370,000.00, sued for over $1 million at
trial.
